Friendly efficient staff. Unlike so many car hire companies they do not try to force you into buying unnecessary extras and their express service is exactly that. I've previously used one of the search car site websites to get (supposedly) best deal but now just go to Sixt as their prices are competitive and their service spot on.

HIDDEN INSURANCE FEES! I have never heard this before, but with Sixt Grenoble the car comes with only third party insurance. Usually at the most basic level the car is insured (albeit with a high excess) and the customer can then choose to reduce the excess by paying extra. The cost of the most basic insurance here was €109 on top of booking costs, so if you are running price comparisons against other companies, add the €109 and if still cheaper then go for it. The car itself and service was very good, but the costs should be clear upfront.

Very good car rental experience overall. Staff was friendly and went an extra mile to help us. The car was much better than what we expected. We booked a compact car and got a brand new Audi Q2. We did not have to wait in a queue, the location is very convenient - right across from the terminal. This means no shuttles, long walks, etc. We were on our way in no time and had an equally efficient experience returning the car. I also liked that the staff does not forcefully upsell the insurance and other options unlike some other rental companies. Will definitely use Sixt again.

Refreshing change from usual car rental customer services - coffee and chocolate while we waited, really friendly and helpful staff, didn’t feel like they were trying to squeeze every last euro out of you. Would pay a bit more to use again.

I have to say that the two guys working on the desk were excellent and the guy who served me was really cheery, efficient and just a nice person. Car was just as I ordered and was almost brand new. I have to say that I dread getting hire cars normally as it is often such a long wait and often with surly staff, but the people at Sixt Grenoble were really excellent.
